With a love of the beach and the sea, discovering the joys of hunting for sea glass and happening to live so close to one of the global epicentres for sea glass - Seaham, North East England - I was hooked. Pairing this with my love of pretty things, Brine and Shine was born

. 

What makes this even better is that the beautiful array of colours and shapes of the glass we find today, were the discarded waste products of the factories of John Candlish's Londonderry Bottle Company from as early as 1872. Today, we find this in the form of beautiful bubbles, speckled in the sand and put it to good use in surely a prime example of upcycling!
